Sunday, December 30, 2007 Last Chance Shootout and it truly was your last chance to play an event....At least for 2007 in Northwest Arkansas. By mnichols @ 11:00 PM :: 157 Views :: 0 Comments       Today we completed the first Eve of New Years Eve Racquetball Tournament, at least since I have been playing.  It was an Olympic style format with rally scoring which led to some fairly quick matches.  You could say you either love this type of format or hate it but one thing is for certain, it breaks the monotony of the way we always have events.  It is also a very good format for small entries and short time availability.      There were 16 that signed up to play though 4 did not show it left us with 12 and some fun racquetball.  We all got to play some matches, visit and eat some pizza.  Good times at the Northwest Athletic Club in Springdale today. Check out the pictures of the event in the photo gallery.     For those that did not make it I hope you have or did have (depending on when you read this) a Happy New Year and get to make the next one.     Look for upcoming events on the 3rd Thursday of each month at this club along with the occasional Saturday event.  These events are going to donate a portion of the entries to the Special Olympics.  More details to come....    Thanks Mike and Lee for inviting us to play.
